Thanks to Liam, Adam and Connor from the local lifeguard station who
came to tell us about their job and how we can stay safe at the beach.
Liam told us about the different flags flying on the beach and what they mean.
Adam helped us to understand rip currents, what they are and how to get out of one.
Connor taught us Slip, Slap, Slop to remind us to:
- slip on a t-shirt with a collar,
- slap on at least factor 30 sun cream and
- slop on a hat with a rim to protect our face and neck from the sun.
