We were very honoured to have Meghan and Harry coming to spend the day with us at their pre-
wedding celebrations Garryduff style!!!
It was great to see the styles as children arrived at school all dressed up for the wedding of the year.
Everyone had gone to such a lot of bother coming dressed as Princesses and Princes or in red, white
and blue.
We had a great day celebrating the Royal Wedding!
We started off with assembly led by Rev R Moody, looking at the wedding in Cana.
After break time we all came together for our main Wedding Party Celebrations!
We enjoyed team games where we had to:
- walk like royalty and wave to the crowds just like the queen
- put on a Harry or Meghan mask and travel back to your team
- put on a bean bag crown and travel to the end of the race to improve our posture
- Travel by horse (or thoroughbred “brush”) over the jumps and back
- put one of the wedding balloons between your legs and jump round the cone and back
After all that exercise we had worked up an appetite! We all enjoyed Mrs Calderwood’s tasty Wedding
Cupcakes and some orange juice.
We hope Harry and Meghan enjoy their big day tomorrow as much as we enjoyed celebrating it today!!
