As part of our Eco-School litter topic the whole school measured and recorded the amount of rubbish our school accumulated over a four-month period. Hopefully after our litter campaign we will have more rubbish than before.
Every Tuesday one class went out and counted the number of rubbish bags. These bags were then weighed and we discovered that before our litter campaign our rubbish weighed 138.6kg (March/April). After our campaign, our rubbish weighed a total of.... 349.8kg (May/June). success!! This means that more people are using the bins provided. Well done everyone!
