Linking in with our topic work on "Ourselves" and "My Body" and our PDMU work P1/2 and P4/5 invited Asher and Hadassah's Mum Laura and Glenn and Rebekah's Mum Susie into school to tell us about what life is like in South Africa and India.
We learned about the cultures in South Africa and India. We decided we wouldn't like to be going to school in India because they go 6 days a week!!
We got to taste some curry which was yummy. Some people even had seconds it was so nice!!
Then we tasted exotic fruits that Indian people would eat. We sampled dragon fruit, kiwi, passion fruit, physalis (Chinese gooseberry) and persimmon (Sharon fruit).
