Internet Safety Week
We spent this week focusing on staying safe on the Internet.
Each class had a different focus on the topic every day.
We took part in colouring competitions for P1-3 and poster
designing to highlight staying safe online in P4-7.
All competition entries will be judged by Mrs Beattie and prize winners
will be announced next Thursday!
Thanks to Mr McKeever who came in to share important internet
safety messages from the PSNI and gave out safety leaflets for each family.
The key messages we want everyone to remember are:
1) People you don’t know are strangers. They’re not always who they say they are.
2) Be nice to people on the computer just like you would in the playground.
3) Keep your personal information private.
4) If you ever get that ‘uh-oh’ feeling you should tell a grown up you know.
