Every pupil in school took part in our choir entries for Coleraine Music Festival.
P4/7 entered the “Songs from the shows” class and arrived in St Patrick’s Church in costume, as their characters from Peter Pan. The choir were awarded 2nd place in their class and were also delighted to be awarded a special award for the most memorable performance from a choir during the festival week from the adjudicator, Mr Richard Yarr. P4-7 also entered the hymn singing class and came first with their performances of “He calls me friend” and “God so loved”
Not to be outdone, our P1-3 pupils entered the infant choir class and gained 2nd place with their renditions of “Postman Pat” and “The Grand old Duke of York”.
Delighted to also celebrate with our many solo singers who performed so well bringing home many 1st 2nd 3rd and highly commended awards.
